• One good tip (from Srbo himself) is to use a layer of electrical or Scotch tape on the aluminum straight edges recessed groove (the part where you push your rubber into the Docket). This trick reduces the width of rubber removed for every cutting to extend your blades lifespan further.
• Before your start sharpening a rubber, make sure its tightly butted up against the Dockets LHS stopper. If not, youll get whats called a ski slope on the blades tips.
• Teflon-coated blades work best with the Docket. Using cheap blades might potentially affect the products performance and make your rubber inefficient.
