FS Tools’ finishing compression spiral router bits are ideal for CNC routers, delivering exceptionally smooth finishing cuts and a long life. The 2-flute compression bits are suitable for plunging, and particularly excel in situations with frequent acceleration/deceleration, or multiple passes.

Compression spiral design for clean cuts from face to face

With both up- and down- spiral configurations built into the bit, both faces of the material will be free from chipping, tear-out, and fuzz, while the spiral pattern produces a smooth cut surface.

FS Tool Finishing Compression Spiral Router Bits are available in multiple configurations

When selecting a bit, choose a longer upcut section for better chip clearing, better dust extraction, and longer bit life. However, the upcut section should always be 1/16 shorter than the shallowest section of the cut to get the benefits of the compression bit.

On the other hand, if movement of the part is a concern, choose an upcut length of 0.200 inches (5 millimetres) or less.
