Norton Sharpening Stone Oil is recommended for use with natural and synthetic oil stones. This highly refined mineral oil meets U.S. Pharmacopoeia standards for mineral oil purity; it may be used around food preparation operations. To use the oil, just apply to the surface of the stone. On synthetic stones more oil may be required, while natural stones like Arkansas stones require less oil because they are not as porous. Made in the USA.
